Power and control your network edge.
The CS210-8FP is a cloud-managed network switch that connects and powers your wired and wireless gear from
one place. Run it locally right out of the box, or bring it into Sophos Central to manage from a single console. It is built for branch offices, retail counters, and business networks that need room to grow.

CS210-8FP at a Glance
Ports & Uplinks
Eight 2.5GbE access ports (100/1000/2500Base-T) handle your desktops, cameras, and
access points, while four SFP+ ports give you 1G or 10G fiber or copper uplinks to the
core. Switching capacity tops out at 120 Gbps.
Power over Ethernet
Every port is PoE-capable with a 240W total budget and support for
802.3af/at/bt (PoE++). Power access points, IP cameras, and VoIP phones over the same
cable that carries their data, so you skip the extra outlets and injectors.
Management & Control
Configure locally over the web interface, CLI, or SNMP at no extra cost. Add a Support
& Services subscription to manage it in Sophos Central alongside your firewalls and
APs. Supports up to 256 VLANs, QoS, and port security.
Form Factor & Warranty
A compact 1U chassis that racks cleanly or sits on a shelf for smaller sites. Hardware
is backed by a limited lifetime warranty, with advanced RMA and 24x7 phone support
included when your Support & Services subscription is active.
Need more ports or a bigger PoE budget?
The CS210-8FP is the compact end of the Sophos switch lineup. Wiring a larger site? The 24-port and
48-port models bring more ports and a bigger power budget, all managed from the same Sophos Central
console.
Not to run it. The switch ships with local web, CLI, and SNMP management included, so
you can deploy it out of the box. A Sophos Switch Support and Services subscription is what unlocks
Sophos Central management, scheduled firmware updates, advanced RMA, and 24x7 phone support. If a
Central-registered switch loses its subscription, it stays visible but drops to read-only until you
renew.
All eight ports deliver Power over Ethernet, so you can run access points, IP
cameras, and VoIP phones over a single cable, no separate power brick required. The switch shares a
240W budget across those ports and supports the 802.3af, 802.3at, and 802.3bt (PoE++) standards, which
covers everything from a basic phone to a high-draw outdoor access point.
Yes. It is a standards-based Ethernet switch, so it drops into any network next to
gear from any vendor. You do not need a Sophos firewall or Sophos access points to use it. The payoff
for going all-Sophos is management: with a Support and Services subscription, you run the switch, your
firewalls, and your APs from one Sophos Central console instead of jumping between tools.
The hardware carries a Sophos limited lifetime warranty, which runs through the
model's published end-of-life date. Advanced hardware replacement (fast RMA) and telephone support are
tied to an active Support and Services subscription, so most buyers pair the switch with a support
term to keep replacement turnaround quick. Ask us and we will spec the right term for you.
Yes. The four SFP+ ports take 1G or 10G transceivers, so you can uplink over fiber or
copper to a 10G core or aggregation switch without bottlenecking your access layer. Pair them with the
eight 2.5GbE ports and the switch keeps up with modern Wi-Fi and higher-speed endpoints.
