FortiMail VM01 is the entry-level virtual appliance license in Fortinet's FortiMail lineup, licensed for a
single vCPU. It's built for small businesses and branch offices that want enterprise-grade anti-spam,
anti-malware, and threat protection running inside their own VMware, Hyper-V, KVM, Citrix XenServer, or
cloud environment — no dedicated appliance required. VM01 supports up to 20 protected email domains
and roughly 150 server-mode mailboxes, making it right-sized for small organizations. It shares the same
hypervisor and public-cloud support as the rest of the FortiMail VM family, so you can step up to VM02 or
higher as mail volume grows.
