license that activates automatically the first time you boot FortiMail VM, letting you evaluate the
platform on 1 vCPU before buying a VM01 or higher license.
If a valid license isn't installed before the 15-day trial ends, you won't be able to
make further configuration changes to FortiMail VM until you apply a purchased license.
The trial runs all core FortiMail functions, but live FortiGuard Antispam and
Antivirus signature updates require a valid service contract, so threat detection won't stay current
without one.
