Position - Network Engineer 1

Job Description

Since 1999 Firewalls.com Inc. has been a leading eCommerce company providing Internet security products and services for small to enterprise customers. We have a full-time position available in the Indianapolis area for a Project Manager to serve our business and expanding client base needs. Our Professional Services team is looking for a qualified Project Manager / Network Consultant who is passionate about educating customers and identifying areas of improvements within a customers network and network security posture, who is customer service oriented and able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of (e.g. Routing, NAT, DNS, subnets, IP Addressing, WiFi, VPN, SDWAN, Authentication Protocols (LDAP,RADIUS), MFA Solutions, endpoint anti-virus, Domain Services, email protection and MX routing required
• Network+ and/or Security+ certifications required, CCNA or CCNP and Microsoft Administration MCSA certifications are a plus
• Experience with wireless, switches, routers and firewalls a must
• IT Support: 2 Years Preferred
• Strong customer service skills required
• Strong verbal and writing communication skills to resolve problems with users and clients
• Passionate about learning new technologies and able to pick up and learn new IT equipment and software quickly

Responsibilities

• Review of customer network topology and the identification of weaknesses in the network architecture and / or security posture
• Identification of products and services to rectify network and / or network security weaknesses
• Ensure exceptional customer satisfaction is consistently delivered and sustained
• Remotely Installing, maintaining, repairing and upgrading network equipment / systems primarily related to firewalls (Fortinet, SonicWall, Sophos, WatchGuard and Cisco Meraki)
• Remotely diagnosing and fixing problems or potential problems with the network and its hardware, software and systems
• Obtain and maintain expert knowledge of key products and services from IT vendors
• Be the intermediary between customers and sales team and vice versa
