RAID 1 protect configuration and log data. A TPM security chip guards appliance integrity at the

Access Security
FIPS 140-2 Level 2 certified with optional anti-tamper protection. Advanced Endpoint Control (EPC)
checks device health, OS patch level, and certificate status before granting access. Role-based policies

Manageable standalone via browser-based console or centrally through the SonicWall Central Management
Server (CMS) for multi-site deployments. Integrates with RADIUS, LDAP, Active Directory, and SAML 2.0

The SMA 6210 supports up to 2,000 concurrent user sessions. Capacity is controlled by
stackable SMA User Licenses, sold separately. You buy only the user count you need and add more
licenses as your headcount grows.
Yes. The SMA 6210 supports both Active/Passive and Active/Active high availability.
Active/Passive keeps a warm standby ready to take over if the primary unit fails. Active/Active
distributes sessions across both appliances simultaneously, letting you upgrade firmware on one unit
without dropping any user connections.
Yes. The SMA 6210 is FIPS 140-2 Level 2 certified and is available with an optional
FIPS add-on that enables anti-tamper protection. This makes it suitable for federal, defense, and
regulated-industry deployments that require validated cryptographic modules.
The SMA 6210 appliance ships without user licenses. At minimum you need SMA User
Licenses, sold in stackable 5-user and 100-user packs. You can also add Capture ATP for SMA as a
subscription add-on to scan files uploaded by remote users through a cloud sandbox before they enter
the network.
