The SonicWall Switch 12-10-FPoE is a 10-port gigabit desktop switch delivering 802.3af/at PoE+ across 8
copper ports with up to 130 watts of total PoE budget and 30 watts per port. That makes it capable of
powering high-performance wireless access points, PTZ cameras, and other PoE+ devices that standard 802.3af
switches cannot support. Two 1G SFP uplinks, a built-in 180W power supply, and 24 Gbps of switching capacity

to 30W per port, compared to the 15.4W limit of standard 802.3af. The Switch 12-10-FPoE has 8

The Switch 12-10-FPoE includes a built-in 180W power supply and can deliver up to
130W of PoE power in addition to its own switching workload. Managing that level of heat generation
requires active cooling with one fan. The Switch 12-8 and 12-8-PoE use smaller external power adapters
(24W and 65W respectively) and operate within a thermal range that allows fanless operation.

remaining two copper ports are standard gigabit ports without PoE. Both SFP uplink ports do not carry
PoE. The total PoE budget across all 8 powered ports is 130W, with a maximum of 30W available per
