Does buying a TZ670 Secure Upgrade or Secure Upgrade Plus bundle include the appliance?

It depends on the exact SKU name. Secure Upgrade Plus bundles include both the new appliance and the security subscription in one purchase. Plain Secure Upgrade bundles, without Plus, are appliance-only for existing SonicWall customers who already have an active subscription they want to carry over, so they don't include a new license. Always check the exact SKU description, or ask us to confirm, before ordering.

Is the TZ670 promotional tradeup with EPSS still available?

SonicWall has moved away from the standalone Essential Protection Security Suite name on newer bundle SKUs as part of ongoing licensing simplification. If you saw a TZ670 promo referencing EPSS specifically, the underlying services are typically still available under a current equivalent bundle, and we can confirm the active SKU and pricing for your trade-up.

If I upgrade to a TZ670, do my extra VPN client licenses transfer?

Not automatically. Add-on licenses like extra SSL VPN client seats are tied to the original appliance's serial number and don't carry over to a new unit on their own. When you upgrade, you'll generally need to re-purchase any add-on client licenses for the new TZ670, though our team can confirm exactly what transfers as part of a Secure Upgrade Plus trade-in.

Can I upgrade from a TZ670 to a TZ680?

Yes. SonicWall's Secure Upgrade Plus program lets you trade in an existing TZ670 toward a TZ680, the next step up in the Gen 7 TZ lineup, at a reduced price versus buying new outright. Let us know your current TZ670 license status and we'll confirm your trade-in eligibility and pricing.

Does the TZ670 support redundant power supply?

Yes. The TZ670 supports an optional second power supply for redundancy, sold separately from the base appliance. Let us know if you'd like it added to your order.
