Fortinet 424E. 24-Port Gigabit Switch with 10GbE Uplinks
The FortiSwitch 424E is a compact 24-port Layer 2/3 switch built for branch and mid-size wiring closets that need fast, reliable uplinks. It combines 24x Gigabit RJ45 access ports with 4x 10 Gigabit SFP+ uplinks for aggregating traffic back to a core or data-center switch. A fiber variant (424E-FIBER) swaps the copper access ports for SFP. Managed through FortiLink from a FortiGate, the 424E becomes part of the Fortinet Security Fabric without a dedicated switch controller.
