The FortiSwitch 224E is a Layer 3 Gigabit access switch built for branch and campus environments that need routing intelligence at the edge alongside PoE+ power for access points and phones. The 224E-POE variant delivers up to 180W across 12 ports without giving up the 4x GE SFP uplinks needed for aggregation. Like the rest of the FortiSwitch lineup, it is managed centrally through FortiLink from a FortiGate.
