No. The 433F is an indoor-rated access point with no IP ingress rating; for outdoor
or hazardous-location deployments, look at the ruggedized FortiAP 432F/432FR series.
It defaults to 802.3at PoE for full functionality including USB, and can fall back to
802.3af PoE with reduced transmit power and no USB support.
Both are indoor Wi-Fi 6 tri-radio APs with the same radio and Ethernet specs; the
main difference is antenna design — the 433F uses external RP-SMA antennas while the 431F uses
internal antennas.
Centrally, through the integrated wireless controller on any FortiGate firewall, or
via the cloud-based FortiLAN Cloud management portal.
