with 1 million Layer 7 requests per second. Hardware (ASIC) SSL acceleration delivers up to
7,000 SSL TPS at 2048-bit keys — strong for its generation, but now past Fortinet's
end-of-support window.
Load Balancing & SSL
Layer 4/7 load balancing with round robin, weighted round robin, least connections, and
shortest-response methods, plus included Global Server Load Balancing and Link Load Balancing. Compression throughput of
6.1 Gbps, with SSL forward proxy and HTTP/S mirroring for traffic inspection use cases.
Connectivity
2x 10GE SFP+ slots plus 4x GE SFP and 4x GE ports in
a 1U rack-mount appliance, with 128 GB SSD onboard storage and support for up to
