Fortinet 548D.
48-Port Gigabit Aggregation Switch with 40GbE Uplinks
The FortiSwitch 548D is a 48-port Gigabit aggregation switch built for high-density campus and data-center
environments that need serious uplink bandwidth. It combines 48x Gigabit RJ45 ports with 4x 10 Gigabit SFP+
and 2x 40 Gigabit QSFP+ uplinks in a 1RU chassis. The PoE+ variant (548D-FPOE) can power all 48 ports and
supports an optional second hot-swappable power supply for redundancy. Managed through FortiLink from a
FortiGate, the 548D fits directly into the Fortinet Security Fabric.

The FortiSwitch 548D has 48 Gigabit Ethernet RJ45 ports plus 4 10 Gigabit SFP+
uplinks and 2 40 Gigabit QSFP+ uplinks in a 1RU chassis.
The PoE+ variant, FS-548D-FPOE, powers all 48 ports with a 750W budget on a single
power supply or up to 1440W with an optional second hot-swappable PSU. A data-only 548D is also
available.
Yes. The 548D supports FortiLink, letting a FortiGate discover, configure, and
monitor it as part of the Security Fabric. Standalone CLI and web GUI management is also available.
Yes, on the PoE+ (FPOE) variant. It ships with a single 750W power supply and
supports an optional second hot-swappable AC PSU, raising the total budget to 1440W and adding power
redundancy.
The FortiSwitch 548D delivers 336 Gbps of switching capacity, making it one of the
higher-throughput models in the FortiSwitch campus lineup.
