Specifications
AP430CR at a Glance
WiFi Standard
802.11ax (WiFi 6) with 4x4 OFDMA on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Four spatial streams per radio provide
significantly more capacity and client headroom compared to 2x2 models, suited for high client density.
Ruggedized Housing
CR-rated enclosure rated for outdoor and harsh indoor environments. The AP430CR handles the physical
demands of warehouses, manufacturing floors, and outdoor venues where indoor-class hardware is not
suitable for long-term installation.
External Antennas
6 N-Type antenna ports. Antennas are sold separately, allowing site-appropriate selection of
omni-directional, directional, or sector antennas. N-Type connectors are more durable than SMA and
better suited to outdoor and high-power antenna setups.
Management
Managed via WatchGuard Cloud or Wi-Fi Cloud with a WatchGuard AP subscription license. Unified policy
management across all WatchGuard access points in your deployment, both indoor and outdoor, from a
single dashboard.

Both are rugged outdoor-capable access points, but the AP430CR runs a 4x4 OFDMA radio
versus the AP332CR's 2x2, giving it more spatial streams and higher client capacity. The AP430CR also
uses 6 N-Type antenna ports versus 4 SMA ports, making it better suited to high-density or high-output
antenna configurations.
No. Antennas for the AP430CR are sold separately. The correct antenna depends on your
specific site survey, desired coverage shape, and environmental conditions. Our team can help you
select and source the right antennas for your deployment.
